- Fluid flow path of the SciLog® Filter and Dispense System is completely single-use and the manifolds are designed to allow closed system processing, which protects operators from exposure to the active biopharmaceutical compounds while minimizing the risk of contamination.
- A built-in inline filter integrity test provides assurance that the filtration has been effective prior to filling into containers.
- The SciLog® Filter and Dispense System can filter and fill up to 250L of bulk purified biopharmaceuticals into either bioprocess bags or bottles with volumes between 100mL and 2L.
- An integrated WeighStation™ for hanging bulk bioprocessing containers that enables gravimetric control of dispensing.
- Pinch valves control the sequential dispensing into each bioprocessing container. Manifolds are purged after dispensing to minimize waste.
- The system can filter and dispense in manual, constant pressure, and in constant flow rate mode or using Parker domnick hunter's patented R/P Stat Method, a hybrid method that maximizes filtration throughput.
- A barcode interlocking mechanism reduces operator error by preventing operation with incorrectly loaded manifolds and providing manifold traceability.
- An integrated label printer allows container and documentation labeling with recipe parameters.
- The system can be used with Parker Domnick Hunter filters or any commercially available filter capsules, as part of an Open Architecture® design.
